Hi :)

If you’re feeling a little bored with your everyday healthy eats, check this website out.  I think it may help you revamp your recipe rotation.  I know I can get into a slump sometimes.

I was reading an article this morning and it was based on “cheat” days.  The article basically said that you shouldn’t really use the word “cheat” because it sounds like you are doing something so super bad, you should be punished after eating a hamburger with fries.  When you cheat on your boyfriend, you get punished.  When you cheat on a test, you get punished.  BUT when you cheat on your diet, you should not punish yourself.  That could potentially lead to a very unhealthy relationship with food.

Instead you should not eliminate one particular food group out of your daily eats (unless you have health issues)… you should eat everything in moderation.  That is why you should not use the word “diet” either.  Obviously, focus more on fruits and veggies, but when it is time to eat chocolate, you can without having to think you “cheated”.  In most cases you are less likely to overeat that chocolate since you never set up rules to stay away from it in the first place.

I know I have stated this many times, but sometimes we all get caught up in wanting to be super strict to get that dream body, we forget that eating in moderation is actually the healthiest thing to do.
